Summary

In 2025, I partnered with the brand team at Figma to design custom artwork for an OOH billboard campaign, made entirely in Figma Draw. The final illustration was an ode to creative tools and their role in shaping the creative process, drawing inspiration (pun intended) from the well-known creative scribble motif. In early 2026, it was installed on a billboard in downtown San Francisco. (They also made my name ridiculously huge, which was very kind of them to do.)

In earlier iterations, I explored a version where the pencil itself formed the word "Figma". Ultimately, the pencil scribble won out.
